![]() ![]() I was able to turn on TPM 2.0 on the board without any problems. Who can explain this to me? And yet W 11 probably works flawlessly even with CSM "on" and "without" Secure Boot. HOW CAN I TURN OFF "CSM" AND TURN ON "SECURE BOOT" (AS W 11 PROVIDES) WITHOUT LOSING THE AORUS LOGO AND THE BOTTOM COMMAND BAR? WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THE VIDEO(GOP) DRIVER? MY BIOS VERSION IS F15. If I still save both changes, I have the same problem as before: The PC skips the AORUS logo and the command bar and goes straight into W 11 and I have to reset the BIOS again. "Repeat the process after rebooting to Make sure the UEFI Video (GOP) driver is operational." If I turn off "CSM" and activate "Secure Boot" at the same time and want to save both, the message comes: I then have to reset the PC via "Clear CMOS". Then I can't get into the BIOS anymore and the PC starts right into Windows 11. If I save CSM as "off" and reboot, the PC starts WITHOUT a gigabyte logo and without a lower command bar. If I now turn off "CSM", the Secure Boot also appears. WHY DOES THE TEST "WHYNOTWIN 11" SHOW ALL PARAMETERS AS OK WHEN "CSM" IS SET TO "ON" (SHOULD BE SET TO "OFF") AND "SECURE BOOT" IS NOT ENABLED? "CSM" is switched on and consequently the "Secure Boot" cannot be displayed or activated. The system info of W 11 shows me in BIOS = UEFI and Safe State = Off. ![]() The test with "WhyNotWin11" shows ALL parameters in the "green" area. On, We will be talking about the newly launched Windows 11 operating system and Windows smartphones and will publish Step-By-Step Guides, Tutorials, How-To, Tips & Tricks to help website readers who are having a difficult time understanding Windows 10 and its new features. I formatted the hard disk for W 11 with "Diskpart clean all". The installation went without any problems. I used the USB stick created in this way as a "UEFI drive" for reinstallation. The "Media Creation Tool" was quickly configured. Since my Windows 11 has slowed down after years, I had decided to reinstall the operating system. I have installed the motherboard "Z370 AORUS Gaming 5" from Gigabyte. ![]()
